Michael Lausmann

Vice President of Sales, EVIO Labs Eugene

After a cancer diagnosis and enduring a year-long chemotherapy treatment, Mr. Lausmann became a believer in the efficacy of medical Cannabis and its abilities to both alleviate symptoms and assist in the healing of a variety of illnesses. At that time, true medical grade Cannabis was difficult to find. Because he featured a compromised immune system, the contaminants present in Cannabis produced a variety of adverse side effects. Their passion for safe, clean alternatives to traditional medicine and their compassion for suffering patients inspired Mike and his wife, Sara, to launch Oregon Analytical Services in 2014, which was acquired by EVIO in 2016. Michael led EVIO Labs Eugene to become EVIO’s busiest lab, serving hundreds of clients across Oregon.

Her enthusiasm for making a difference in her community has translated well to her role within the Cannabis community. Mrs. Lausmann’s passion for safe, clean Cannabis for both medical and recreational users stems from her experiences with her husband’s cancer treatment as well as her experience of witnessing her uncle’s use of medical Cannabis during his final years as his AIDS progressed. Understanding the need for both a safe alternative to traditional medications and compassion for people looking to Cannabis as an alternative helped Sara grow OAS into a leading testing facility in Oregon.
